great way to support your bodies systems when you're feeling sick with a cold, flu or fever. Take at onset of cold/flu, and also it is helpful to take this infusion twice a day for a week or so when you are sick. It can help modulate fever by promoting sweating and helping your body to fight off virus' and bacteria. Most of the ingredients in this blend are wild harvested; bringing a revery back to the days when humans would walk into the forests and prairies to gather their medicines. With a deep knowing that these herbs brought support to not only their bodies but their whole beings. The Downy Woodmint is native here and it is uncommon to find it in any herbal tea blends, most of the wisdom that can be found on the use of this herb comes from Native Americans. We are lucky it is abundant and happy to grow in our harvest area.

Instructions
I like to give the bag a little upside-down shake before i spoon out a serving because the ingredients can settle. Scoop out a heaping teaspoon to a tablespoon per cup; start with that and you may decide you like a stronger or lighter blend. Use a tea ball, french press, or any covered glass or ceramic container. The important part is that you steep the infusion COVERED. This keeps the volatile oils from escaping with the vapors.  Cover and steep in hot water for 12-15 minutes. Strain, and Enjoy. 
 
 
Precautions
Do not use during pregnancy as Yarrow is contraindicated due to its high volatile oil content. Not for extended use. Best when used for acute cold/flu conditions not chronic sickness. Those with sensitivity to the Asteraceae family (daisies) may be sensitive to this blend.
