Herbal Books of Interest

Oh my golly, how I love my herbal books!! So much potent knowledge, shared by such sweet plant people, connecting us to deep wisdom. Some books are more of a reference, that you look back at periodically for remedies and recipes. Some are stories, experiences, experiments, love stories intertwining nature with our own heart. All of them written by humans with love and deep experience in the world of herbs.

With the rise of AI, it has been reported that 82% of herbal books on Amazon are written by AI!! 82%! Wild. This is not only dangerous and frickin lame, but it strips the human connection of thousands of years of real relationships and experience of humans coexisting with plants. Who knows where AI is pulling info from; unsourced websites, random pages of businesses making up plant "facts" to sell a product, from thin air? Its not only unreliable, but it can also be false information!! Double check the author of books online (Amazon especially) if you don't recognize the name, make sure it's a legitimate human being. We are a direct line of connection to plants, and that is how they teach us. And that is how we teach each other. We are, by birthright, a direct link to the plant world. We are both nature, and the wisdom in that relationship is what has built herbal knowledge through the ages.

I wanted to share a list of books I have enjoyed in my exploration of herbal wisdom. I hope this inspires you to follow your own plant journey. This is by no means anywhere close to a conclusive list, just some books that have held me in my learning and helped my understanding.
