About the event
Step into the magic of the wild and rediscover your connection to the living world around you. In this hands on, heart centered class, we'll explore the art of ethical wildcrafting and the deep wisdom of local plants. This is more than just plant identification; its about building relationship and reciprocity with the green beings that nourish and heal us. We will talk about what it means to harvest with respect, to move through the land with reverence, and to honor the sacred exchange between human and plant.
We'll meet about 10 local, abundant plants that can be worked with for food and medicine; learning how to safely identify them and prepare them in ways that support well-being. You'll get to experience a guided plant walk, peruse the herb garden, and explore the apothecary. If the weather allows class will be held outside. Come with curiosity and an open heart.…
